Since 1989, Monosem has applied the concept of planting with the planter resting on the ground directly in line with the seed drop. This tried-and-tested planting method is versatile and accurate, and moreover cuts down on maintenance. The NX M/ME unit combines quality metering with disc planting, resulting in optimal use of the planter over very large areas reducing its operating costs.

Microsem's primary objectives are to nurture and protect seeds.

Distributing microgranules requires just as much care and precision as planting.

Our auger-based Microsem system ensures consistent distribution of insecticides, molluscicides and even fertilizers.

Microgranules are positioned very close to seeds, protecting them from pests and providing them with all the nutrients they require for uniform shoot emergence.

Features may include:

• Clod removers clear the way for the seed line, removing any clods, stones or plant debris.

• This tool prepares the way for the double opener discs and produces fine soil for the seed line.

• These discs open the furrow to a depth defined by the gauge wheels.

• The V-shaped tip finishes the furrow bottom for optimal seed placement.

• The shape of the tube is specially designed to guide the seeds gently to the ground at perfectly consistent intervals.

• This wheel unit composed of 2 tilted wheels closes the furrow around the seed to ensure optimal seed germination.
